Brave Spring tries its best….

DO8_2979-tt-ccDwarf Iris on our Patio are bringing a touch of Spring to the garden.

Welcome as the Iris are, we still only have a lone Crocus and a few Snowdrops….it all seems out of sync with the grand seasonal plan.

I do wonder if it ever will get back to what we would call normal

  1. David, love the gorgeous cooling lavenders! lovely shot 🙂 I don’t know how you got that to go so Black behind, but I love it! wilting, but cheers, Debi

  2. I think we should all forget “normal days”… 🙂 But my love reminded me and made a point about this, many many years ago when we met with my Love, (on 7th February) in Istanbul, there was a day like a summer…. I remember we walked with only t-shirt…. So what means this, in time we live such a day like that… 🙂 maybe everything is as usual… 🙂 Your photograph so beautiful, their colours are amazing. Thank you dear David, have a nice day and new week, love, nia

However, I myself have had quite enough of this continuous Autumn weather. We have a stiff gale blowing here at the moment. Luckily it’s dry and there’s even sunshine! But the continuous storms are getting to me and I am losing my patience. I do want to come over and see my friend in Hunmanby but in this weather I will neither sail nor fly. I am a bit of a coward, I think…
