DP Weekly Photo Challenge – Earth

At this time of year there is nothing more certain than the rapid changeability of our Spring weather…one moment sunny, then clouds roll in and squally rain showers sweep across like mist and drench everything. Then the sun comes out again and with it the chance of a rainbow.

It is this weather that breaths new vitality and of course new life to our EARTH.

Just an idea this DP Weeks Photo Challenge – Earth

The Sky was on Fire…….

Nearly Midnight, crossing the Arctic Circle.

I have been getting rather frustrated at not being able to capture a proper sunset for sometime…the clouds and weather just haven’t played ball.   That frustration was also fired by friends blogging and posting their fabulous sunsets.  So not to be totally out done I cheated and here is one from last July.

It was nearly midnight, in fact it never really went properly dark at these latitudes. We were just about to cross the Arctic Circle off the coast of Grimsey Island, an exciting experience in its own right.
