Abbey Mill, Mill Avon, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire
Wow…three days of what one can truly say is summer sunshine. Yesterday we reached the dizzy heights of 29c and todays they guess we will reach 32c…..now for us that is seriously hot!
As there is nothing better for cooling you down than water I thought this might just do the trick.
The Weir is on the River Mill Avon and is really a tributary of the River Avon that was used to divert the flow of water to a couple of Tewkesbury’s mills. It is also here at Tewkesbury that the Avon has run its course and together with Mill Avon they join the River Severn.
