A Change in the Weather

2

It had to change.for over two weeks we have been enjoying a dry hot spell of summer weather…..and over the last week the Forecasters have been telling us that that it was about to end….of course it had to sometime and today was the day.

Wispy clouds in a blue sky welcomed the day but very gradually it changed…

And of course the inevitable happened it rained….and rained with a vengeance

  1. Sorry, no rain here, just beautiful clear days and nights – it is winter in Australia but with low’s of 4-5C and highs in the low to mid 20’s who would know! Envious of your rainy window shot, I’ve been trying for years for one that sharp. Trouble is my windows don’t get the rain on them unless it’s blowing a gale and then it’s all just water πŸ™‚

    • That was more luck than skill….I had earlier cleaned the window on the outside which I guess left if polished, so the rain beaded and the light angle from behind was just right and gave great contrast. Dull day again today but they do promise that summer is coming back but its been an odd year with no plan or consistency :-).

  2. You are not alone. We have cooler weather with some rain and also some more wind and to be quite honest about it, apart from the rain… I was happy to get the cooler weather. This is a normal summer sofar. Some heat spells, mostly around 22ΒΊ with a few clouds, bit o’wind and occasionally some rain. Our summer started halfway through the first week of July. Before that we had horrible weather with in the South hail stones the size of tennis balls. Lots and lots of damage. https://www.google.nl/search?q=foto%27s+schade+hagel&biw=1280&bih=561&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiSwNSvy5jOAhVBBBoKHe4hCP8Q_AUIBigB
I like the cooler weather. I can do things instead of camping on my couch doing nothing because it’s too warm for me. Complaining about the weather is a nice past time though. We do it too and love it to bits. πŸ˜€
