The Advent Candle nearly gone…..

The time is 23.55 gmt….the Advent Candle is nearly down to its last flickers..

A few more minutes and it will be Christmas Day.  Time to celebrate.

I am mindful that not every one will be in a position to have a wonderful time…..but if like me you are fortunate to be able to enjoy the festivities,  please spare a thought for those who cannot….and help if you are able.

Daily Post Weekly Photo Challenge – Path

A well trodden Path…

To me most pathways into the country, be they valley paths, paths thru woodlands, maybe paths that take you off into the hills or across pen moors, they are always exciting …..full of anticipation.  Even if that path has been well trodden many times before that feeling of excitement and anticipation is still there. Often bring back memories but always creating new ones.

The pathway above is the southern start of the Pennine Way which cuts a trail northwards up the spine of England.  It can be a long distance challenge or simply the start of a days circular walk or maybe just an afternoons stroll.

Location:  Grinds Brook, Edale, Derbyshire
