A well trodden Path…
To me most pathways into the country, be they valley paths, paths thru woodlands, maybe paths that take you off into the hills or across pen moors, they are always exciting …..full of anticipation. Even if that path has been well trodden many times before that feeling of excitement and anticipation is still there. Often bring back memories but always creating new ones.
The pathway above is the southern start of the Pennine Way which cuts a trail northwards up the spine of England. It can be a long distance challenge or simply the start of a days circular walk or maybe just an afternoons stroll.
