Storm Eleanor is in her last throws of anger outside….but the sky is slowly breaking up and shafts of warm looking sunshine have brightened the afternoon.
That sunshine lighting up a corner of our conservatory is very deceptive…in fact quite summer like….yet outside the wind is still whipping up a bluster and temperatures are in decline.
We feel rather lucky as we have not experienced the worst of Storm Eleanor which has caused much damage and chaos elsewhere across the UK.
So without sounding smug… its is nice to be all cosy and warm inside.
