Bedruthan Steps, Cornwall
I do appreciate that many followers of my blog live in a very different climate to those of us in the UK. But I still think that you will appreciate the need, after so much dull dark and damp weather, to both reflect back to those warm summer days and to look forward to many more to come in the summer months ahead.
Not that I am wishing time away, that is unforgivable……we have all the joys of spring to come….but even a ‘mental’ break from the darker times we are passing through is very welcome.
So I will just be content (for now) to imagine the sound of surf breaking along the shoreline, the smell of the salt on the breeze from the sea, the call of Gulls, that water that each footfall squeezes from the sand….and that warmth from the sun that eases away winters aches.
