Flippant Friday….Its going to be Tough

Tough

After being away for a few weeks it is certainly going to be tough getting back into the swing of the daily routine…. and after high temperatures, blue skies and some wonderfully colourful locations plus some great hospitality, it is going to be tough. Nor is it helped with autumn storms blowing outside – what a change, wish I could say that its good to be back.

Still there are lots of memories and I do hope to bring some of those to you in the weeks to come.

All at Sea…

Land-Locked-Adventurergg

We will not be around for a while….whilst Wordless Wednesday is already in the system there will be a break from the Daily Post.

And don’t worry about Buster… Simon and Matthew are firmly in charge of everything at home (in particular the freezer) with a watchful eye from Buster making sure he gets his share of what’s cooking!  🙂

Last day of August….

The Man of War, Lulworth

It is the last day of August and what a wonderful month it has been…full of sunshine and blue skies with only the very occasional odd spot of rain….it really has been a summer that dreams are made of.  The Meteorological Office insist that autumn starts tomorrow.

Well I for one don’t accept that, surely we have a few more weeks of sunshine to give us a lovely late summer to match what has gone before.

Good bye August…. a month to remember.

Look in any window….

Shop windows always grab my attention…well they do when the shop keeper makes an effort to create a display of interest.

So this is my suggestion for this week Cee’s B&W Photo Challenge
